Description:

The Blaupunkt Sultan 2520 is a standard radio. It is built very well, but one important part which is missing, is a ferrite antenna for the LW and MW reception. Luckily the sensitivity is well, so LW, MW and SW reception is possible with the build in FM antenna.
Another part is the addition of the tone register switches. For example, the sonor switch adds the low-mid frequencies, which results in a more full male voice reproduction.

Repairs:

Further repair isn't done and the radio is sold in 2003. The most critical components are replaced.

Performance:

After repair, the radio plays quite well. The sound is a more neutral sound and lacks in the highest frequency reproduction, even with the use of 2 electrostatic tweeters.
For a good Am reception, a good antenna is required.
